It was a lonely 3 weeks without my car, but well worth it. My repairs/upgrades were:
1) Adjustable control arms (rear) - with the lowered suspension I have, adjustable control arms make proper alignment possible. They don't come stock on the Delorean so they had to be machined from my originals.
2) Axle seal replacement - I had an axle seal leaking that was losing differential lubricant, so this was a major preventative maintenance item.
3) Fuel pump upgrade - this was the original reason I took the car to Haglin in the first place because my stock pump kept dying on me when it was hot. I haven't had a hot day to test it yet but I'm confident it will perform better than the original.
4) Fuel pump cover/boot - Haglin installed an upgraded cover/boot over the fuel pump, far better than the OEM one. This now prevents water from the front wheels from getting on top of the fuel pump and corroding it. Haglin also eliminated the fuel smell I was having when the car was parked.
5) A/T gasket - my auto tranmission had a slight leak, and it turned out to just be the gasket. Thank Heaven it wasn't worse!
6) Throttle plates weren't adjusted properly when closed...it's fixed now.
My car no longer surges during warm-up like it did (it's much less pronounced) so I think the car is about as close to running perfectly as it's going to get at my altitude. It's quite an enjoyable car.
